Around Twinsburg

Delay in Trash Pickup.  There will be a delay in trash pickup due to the Labor Day Holiday.  Trash will be picked up on Wednesday, September 8th.

Farmers’ Market every Thursday from 3PM to 6PM.   Stop by and pick up local fresh  fruit and vegetables, bakery, honey products, maple syrup, and much more.  Located in the parking lot adjacent to Gander Mountain.

Olde Thyme Fayre presented by the Twinsburg Historical Society.  Saturday, Sept. 11 10AM to 5PM, Sunday, Sept. 12, 1PM to 5PM.   Petting farm, music by Gitterpickers, demonstrations, bakery, vendors, displays, locally grown herbs, produce & flower competition.  Museum and barn open to visitors, no charge.  8996 Darrow Road, parking available behind buildings.

Twinsburg Garden Club “Arranging for the Holidays”.  September 9 at 6:30PM.  Learn tips for making spectacular holiday arrangements.  Refreshments served.  Held at the Twinsburg Community Center, senior center wing.

Bi-Laws Regulatory Reminder

As residents of Ethan’s Green, it is our responsibility to maintain our community to high quality standards.  The board would like to reiterate the following information from our Deed Restrictions and Rules & Regulations:

  • Absolutely No above-ground swimming pools
  • Absolutely No tool sheds or storage structures
  • Absolutely No swimming, fishing, or ice skating is allowed in any pond

In addition to obtaining building permits from the City of Twinsburg, all additions and/or architectural changes MUST be submitted to Carlyle Management Company in triplicate.  Please supply a description of the planned project, sketches and/or photos, and a list of types of materials to be used. Upon review, this request is submitted to our Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for their prompt review.

These requirements include the following:

  • Fences
  • Decks / Patios
  • Room Additions
  • Children’s Playgrounds
  • In-Ground Pools

Detailed requests will provide the tool to expedite review of your addition &/or changes.

Any violation of these rules should be reported to Carlyle Management Company.  Your efforts in keeping Ethan’s Green a beautiful community are greatly appreciated.
