Open Board Position
The Ethans Commons Homeowners’ Association currently has an opening for an additional board member. Any resident who would be interested in volunteering their time to serve on this board is requested to send a letter providing brief personal information and a short statement of why they would like to serve on the Board of Trustees. Please forward this information to info@ethans-green.com by July 23. If you would like additional information about what is involved, please contact any of our current board members. Their contact information is shown above.
Community Garage Sale
The Ethans Green Community Garage Sale is over for another year. The weather was good, our sellers were happy and our buyers went home with carloads full of bargains. This year, resident realtor Kim Kapustik of Keller Williams Realty donated the printing of 500 maps, most of which were snapped up the first day. We had 105 registered participants. At the end of the sale, participating homes received a list of local charitable organizations that are happy to receive donations of the unsold items. This list is available to any resident who is interested in redirecting items which they no longer need. Send your request for this list to dspera@windstream.net.
Board Inspects Common Areas
On May 23, the Homeowners Association board members conducted a drive-around inspection of all common areas within Ethans Green. The board checked the condition of all structures, landscaping, signage, and ponds. The goal of the board is to ensure that the appearance of our common areas is maintained to the high standards our residents have come to expect. Among issues scheduled to be addressed are replacement of weathered/missing signs by ponds, treatment of the Liberty/Appleby pond for excessive algae, sealing of the asphalt pathway at North Pond, and a drainage issue by the stairs of the Elisa Pond gazebo.
Many residents think that the playgrounds within Ethans Green are maintained by the homeowners’ board. These are actually maintained by the City of Twinsburg. If you see damage at any of these playground locations, please contact the city service department.

Twinsburg Farmers’ Market
Come out and visit this year’s Twinsburg Farmers’ Market at their new location on Creekside Drive. The market is held every Thursday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm during the months of July, August, and September. Their tables are loaded with the region’s freshest fruits and vegetables, organic produce, honey, maple syrup, ciders, cheeses, jams, flowers, fresh breads, baked goods, and much more. Creekside Drive is located off of Rte. 91, next to the Twinsburg Post Office. The tents are set-up in the parking lot adjacent to Gander Mountain, so there is plenty of parking available. |
